Hello, my name is Daniel J. Morin and I welcome you to the Black Crane Gallery. I am located in the town of Grand Isle, Maine. I have led the life of a true renaissance man. "I guess when you love something, you have a better chance of mastering it". I have many loves; watercolor,oil,acrylic,photography,writing music,studying the guitar and teaching art,music,voice and the guitar. I am a member of NARAS the Grammy organization. I am also a member of the National Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society Of America, American Society Of Marine Artists and a founding organizing member of Meet Our Colors, an international art symposium located in Northern Maine featuring Canadian and Maine artists.I studied photography at the New York Institute Of Photography. I studied classical music and guitar under the tutilage of classical guitarist Walter Novac. I have attended studies at Universite De St. Louis Maillet N.B. Canada, University Of Maine at Fort Kent,Maine, University Of Phoenix, Arizona,and am currently enrolled at Berklee College Of Music, Boston,Mass in persuit of a Master's Certificate. I am also CEO of The Saint John Valley Musique Guild and owner of Black Crane Records and TheBlackCraneGallery.com I have been a mentor for The American Institute Of Foreign Students.
