The Batteau Collection if the result of a 2 year project covering Dave Wylie's recreation of a Connors River Batteau. 600 photographs were taken. The batteau was commissioned by the Madawaska Historical Society. She then made a maiden voyage on the Saint John River.
The photographs were then boiled down to a 31 piece collection. The collection is an effort to see if a blend of artistic and historical photographs can exist in the same space. Reaction from the public has been overwhelmingly positive. Enjoy, Daniel.
